Frequently asked questions – campsite and village

How can I reach the camping village?
If you are coming from the north, take the A12 Motorway up to Rosignano Mmo, then take the E80 towards Rome. Take the third exit, Cecina Centro. GPS: N.4318.954 E.1033.245

Should l I follow directions to Montescudaio?
No. Once you have left the E80 in Cecina Centro, turn right and go straight on up to the roundabout that, if completed without following directions to Montescudaio, heads towards the same motorway exit. With the hospital on your right, go straight on up to the second roundabout that leads to Cecina. Take the third exit, Guardistallo. The Camping Village is situated just 1 km far from the exit.

How far away is the sea?
The beach of Marina di Cecina is situated just 4.5 Km far from our Camping Village.

Where and how can I use the Wi-Fi connection? How much do you charge for it?
Access is free and available on most of the camping area. The external service provider does not guarantee a constant connection, therefore it is not suitable for professional use as the signal and it's availability is subject to variation depending on the number of users connected at the same time.
Is there an entertainment service during the day?
During the High Season, a skilled team of professional entertainers will entertain both adults and children.

Is there an evening entertainment service?
During the High Season, the Camping Village offers plenty of evening attractions, such as musicals, concerts, dancing nights and piano bar sessions both in the theatre of the pizzeria and around the poolside bar.

Can I buy food and drinks inside the Camping Village?
The campsite has a small market (situated behind the pools) offering a wide range of food and drinks, as well as typical local products. It also sells camping tools for all needs (chairs, tables, cookers, tents, inflatable mattresses, gas refill, power sockets and so on).

Do you have washing machines and tumble dryers?
Yes. There are several coin-operated washing machines in the service areas 1 and 2, and a coin-operated tumble-dryer in the service area 2 where it is also possible to iron your clothes.

Is there a fee to use the swimming pools and sports facilities?
These are already included in your stay. There is nothing further to pay except a small fee to use the tennis court and the ping-pong tables.

Is it compulsory to wear a swimming cap in the pool?
No. It is not compulsory to wear a swimming cap in the pool.

Is there an ATM inside the village?
There is not an ATM inside the Camping Village, but Cecina has 15 banks with their relevant ATMs.

May I use my hair-dryer and electric grill in the pitch?
No. The power outlet provided does not support the use of such equipment. You can use your hair-dryer in the toilet area.

May I have any guests during my stay?
Yes. Daily visitors are admitted and must be welcomed by their guest at the Reception. The visitors’ cars must be parked outside the Camping Village. All visitors must show an ID. In case of stays longer than 1 hour, the payment of the daily rate is required.

Where can I park my car?
The car must be parked inside your pitch and must not be left inside other pitches.

Can I park more than one car in my pitch?
It is normally not possible. It will be allowed only in case there is enough space for two cars. This possibility can be checked upon selection of the pitch only.

Campsite: information and check-in

Are there established days to check-in at the campsite?
No. It is possible to check-in at the campsite any day of the week (upon availability).

What time do I have to vacate my pitch?
The pitch must be vacated by 12:00 on the day of departure.

Is there a minimum stay required during the high season?
Yes. During the high season, the minimum stay required is 7 nights.

Are there special offers?
Yes. During the low season, 7 nights for the price of 6, 14 nights for the price of 11 and 21 nights for the price of 14.

How can I book my stay?
You can contact us via email and fax at any time from November, or call us Monday to Friday from 9 to 13.

When should I pay the total balance due?
The balance must be paid the day before departure from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

Is it possible to pay by credit card?
Yes. It is possible to pay by credit card: Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.

Is it possible to pay by cheque?
No. We do not accept cheques.

Is it possible to book a specific pitch?
It is not possible to book a specific pitch . Guests will choose their pitch upon their arrival based on the selected typology in the area indicated by the reception staff.

What time can I reach the campsite to choose a pitch?
It is possible to choose a pitch during the opening hours of the reception (from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening during the high season). The gates are closed at 11, even if it is still possible to stop inside the campsite area and use the electrical outlet. The selection of the pitch will take place the following morning.
Are all pitches the same size?
No. Our campsite is situated inside a wood, so pitches have irregular shapes because they are surrounded by trees and bushes. We must comply with relevant provisions concerning the maximum size.

Are all pitches well shaded?
The campsite is totally surrounded by a thick wood of oaks and holm trees. All pitches are shaded based on the different time of the day.

Why do you ask for maximum sizes for tents and campers?
All pitches are situated inside the wood and, even if they have similar sizes, they have different shapes. We must know the size of the equipment to manage our bookings.

Is it possible to put an extra tent in the pitch?
It is not possible to ensure there will be enough space for an extra tent. Upon their arrival, guests can add one or more extra tents at no additional cost (if possible).

Can I have a barbecue at the pitch?
It is possible to have a barbecue at the pitch, but you must use the right tools. It is prohibited to light fires.

Are pitches provided with electricity?
All pitches are provided with 10A power outlet (GOLD - 16 Amps) at a maximum distance of 25 metres. Electricity consumption is included in the price.

Which type of socket should I use?
The campsite is provided with sockets complying with all EU regulations. Guests must use a blue industrial socket (see photo).

Are showers and washbasins provided with hot water?
All showers are provided with hot water. The sinks for dishes situated in the service area and around the campsite are all provided with hot water. The washbasins are mostly provided with hot water.

Are there chemical toilets in the campsite?
Yes. There are 12 chemical toilets. They can be easily seen on the map since they are black and square.

Is it possible to hire a fridge?
Yes. The campsite has a limited number of fridges that can be hired upon availability. Ask the reception for availability and prices.

Is it possible to freeze food?
Yes, just ask the market.

Village: information and check-in

Are there established days to check-in at the Village?
During the High Season, it is possible to check-in every day except Mondays. During the Low Season, it is possible to check-in any day of the week.

Is there a minimum stay required in the Village?
Yes. The minimum stay required is one week;

What time do you assign the living units?
All living units are assigned by 16:00 on the day of arrival.

What time do I have to vacate my living unit on the day of departure?
The living unit must be vacated by 9:00 on the day of departure.

When should I pay the total balance due?
The total balance due must be paid on the day of arrival from 9 to 12 and from 16 to 19.

Are there special offers at the holiday village?
Yes. The Holiday Village proposes advantageous offers both during the Low and the High Season. During the Low Season (periods A,B,C,D, H,I), 7 nights for the price of 6, 14 nights for the price of 11 and 21 nights for the price of 14. During the High Season (periods ,E,F,G), 5%-discount for stays of 14 nights and 10%-discount for stays of 21 nights.

How can I book my stay at the Holiday Village?
You can contact us via email, telephone or fax at any time.

Is it possible to pay by credit card?
Yes. It is possible to pay by credit card: Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.

Is it possible to pay be cheque?
No, cheques are not accepted.

Are the living units provided with air conditioning?
The living units are not provided with air conditioning. However, they are thermally insulated and sheltered by tree-covered pitches. Furthermore, the wood is always ventilated.

Are water, electricity and gas consumptions included in the price?
Yes. The total price includes consumptions, VAT. Prices do not include tourist tax.

Are bed linen and towels included?
Bed linen and towels are included in the price of the accomodation during high season period (periods E, F, G) and available on request in the other periods.

Is final cleaning to be paid separately?
Final cleaning is included in the price.

Which kind of equipment is there inside Caravan Casa and Bungalow?
Our living units are all provided with crockery, cutlery, microwave oven (only Caravan Casa), kettle, pots and pans and basic kitchen utensils. They are also provided with barbecue and drying rack.

Is it possible to hire baby beds and high chairs?
Guests at the Holiday Village can hire baby beds and high chairs. Contact our reception to get further information about availability and prices.
